About us
Como Carbon Services was established in 1994 to provide solutions to recovering precious metals from activated carbon fines that were normally collected from ground spillage and tails safety screens.
Most of this material remained in bags and drums on mine sites, sometimes for years as there were no simple and cost effective methods of recovering the carbon. Como Carbon Services have developed equipment and methods for recovery of this carbon.
The carbon can be stripped of the precious metals returning as much as 99% of the contained gold to our clients.

Our Services
Como Carbon Services stripping plant can process as little as 1 tonne and up to 4 dry tonne per day.
Carbon Cleaning & Sizing
Using gravity separation and elutriation, Como Carbon Services recovers carbon from material containing rock, sand, plastics, wood fibre and other deleterious materials.
Carbon Desorption (Stripping)
Highly efficient IPS circuit resulting in low barren carbon values. Como Carbon Services can provide regular scheduled stripping to clients whom do not have onsite processing facilities.
Carbon Regeneration
Vertical Regeneration Kiln with results of approximately 90% increase in activity to pre regeneration. The plant is capable of 75kg/hr throughput.
