Como Carbon Services stripping plant can process as little as 1 tonne and up to 4 dry tonne per day.

Carbon head grades of all values can be catered for. The plant comprised 2 x 2 tonne carbon steel columns which can be run singularly or in parallel. Our electrowinning cell is encased in a pressure vessel which provides a very high degree of security.

Carbon Washing – Using gravity separation and elutriation Como Carbon Services recovers carbon from material containing rock, sands, plastics, wood fibre and other deleterious materials. The plant is capable of processing up to 3 tonne per hour resulting in a clean carbon product ready for stripping. Recovered carbon is packaged in 1 cubic meter bulk bags for easy handling and storage.

Carbon Sizing – Removal of fine fraction of carbon is essential in reducing the instances of fines migration through a CIP/CIL circuit. Fine carbon can be lost to tailings taking with it quantities of gold and other precious metals.  The sizing plant processes approximately 1 tonne per hour. Fines can be returned to the client or disposed of.

Carbon Stripping (Desorption) – Highly efficient IPS circuit resulting in low barren carbon values.
Como Carbon Services can provide regular scheduled stripping to clients whom do not have onsite processing facilities.

Carbon Regeneration – Vertical Regeneration Kiln with results of approximately 90% increase in activity to pre regeneration. The plant is capable of 75kg/hr. throughput. Regenerated carbon is packaged into new 1 cubic meter bags.
